We live in the south and get horrible fruit flies in the summer. No matter what we try, they seem to never go away. We’ve tried the little gel traps, sticky traps, Zevo, and I finally got these. I was shocked how well they worked. I plugged both in my kitchen and the next morning there were significantly fewer of them. They’ve been plugged in for about a week and now I just see one or two flying around occasionally.

I received two of these plug in bug zappers. The one in my bathroom has been great at getting rid of tiny flies or mosquitoes that seem to make their way in there. I had purchased a similar larger zapper last year for gnats and fruit flies so when I a friend suggested this for mosquitoes I knew I needed to get it as we were having indoor mosquitoes due to all the crazy rain and construction going on close by and this zapper has been great. I used this product in my kitchen. It did kill a small fly or gnat here and there, as I noticed they were dead and trapped inside the unit each morning. I do feel this would be better placed near an entryway where more bugs or flies might enter a home but I did not have an outlet close to my front door to try that out.
