The filter made our ice and water in the refrigerator so refreshing. It made a big difference in the taste.

This is typically the choice because it’s a known brand and not a unknown Chinese knockoff of an odd name. At least you can trust this to do what it says…the others at half price, do they work? Who knows. I know this one makes the water taste good, fits well and is the safe choice IMHO

been buying the whirlpool #3 filter for years. I’ve not yet seen any of the filtration material break off and end up in the water, despite the instructions saying to purge it all when you first reinstall it by pushing a gallon or so through it before drinking any of it. never had an issue. to replace it, my fridge has a button-like thing I have to pull on, not push, which catches on the side of the bottle, pulling it all out of its deep socket. it’s easy to swap out once you understand what the heck it needed.

This is the only product I would buy. Don’t chance buying cheaper or generic “one size fits all” cartridges as you may have issues with fit, whereas, this is a true genuine filter for Whirlpool. Installation was simple, within seconds, just put the cap on, push in until it clicks, that easy!

Filter was an exact replacement for the original filter. Was delivered fast as described and an easy fit.

Price is significantly lower, same brand and quality, as local home improvement stores.

Works great, water tastes good! Clarity of water is nice and seems to have longevity to it as well, it was an easy install. Good instructions.

The only filter I would ever use with our Jenn Air built in. Tried the generic once…..went right back to this one.

Water filter Quality

This filter makes a big difference in my water quality. The ice seems fresher and cleaner. No more need bottled water.

It is absolutely necessary to keep filters for my refrigerator to help with the taste of ice and water.

I do have to shave off 1/16” plastic at the locking ends, to fit my Older’s (2005) refrigerator. I’ve been buying these for years, the water just taste right!
